Financial Planning Events Across Australia

Connect with industry professionals, explore emerging trends in business finance, and develop practical strategies. Our 2025 schedule brings together business owners, advisors, and finance specialists for meaningful conversations about sustainable growth.

Event Information

We've organized information by topic to help you find what matters most. Each section expands to show relevant details about registration, participation, and what to expect.

Program Basics

Our events attract business owners looking to improve financial operations, accountants exploring new client service models, and professionals transitioning into advisory roles. Most attendees operate small to medium enterprises or provide services to them. The content assumes basic financial literacy but doesn't require advanced qualifications.

Half-day workshops combine presentation with group discussion. Full-day conferences include keynote sessions, breakout groups, and networking blocks. We keep presentation segments under 45 minutes and build in breaks. Virtual events use similar timing with interactive elements adapted for online participation.

Major conferences offer both options. Workshops are typically in-person only since they involve hands-on activities. Virtual access includes live streaming, chat participation, and access to recorded sessions afterward. Some networking elements work better face-to-face, but we've found online attendees still make valuable connections.

Enrollment & Registration

Popular sessions fill up three to four weeks before the date. Early registration (8+ weeks out) often includes reduced rates. We cap most events at 80-120 participants to maintain discussion quality. If something's full, join the waitlist since cancellations happen regularly.

All events include session materials, catering during scheduled breaks, and access to presentation slides. Full-day conferences add lunch. Virtual tickets include recording access for 90 days. CPD certificates are provided when relevant. Accommodation and travel remain separate expenses.

Groups of four or more receive 15% off standard rates. Teams from the same organization can coordinate registration through a single contact. We find group attendance strengthens implementation since colleagues can reference shared learning afterward.

Practical Details

Pre-reading is optional for most events. When provided, it arrives one week before via email. Post-event, you'll receive slide decks, resource lists, and sometimes templates discussed during sessions. Everything comes in accessible digital formats.

Events qualifying for continuing professional development are marked in descriptions. We provide attendance certificates documenting hours and topics covered. Specific CPD approval varies by professional body, so verify your requirements beforehand. Most accounting and advisory associations accept our programs.

What Happens at Our Events

Beyond scheduled sessions, the value often emerges in side conversations during breaks, questions that spark new thinking, and connections made with others facing similar challenges.

Interactive Learning

Sessions balance presentation with participation. You'll work through scenarios, ask questions as they arise, and share perspectives with others. Most people find the group discussion just as useful as the prepared content.

Real Business Context

Presenters draw from actual client situations and business experiences. Case studies come from Australian businesses similar to those attending. When discussing strategies, we talk about what worked, what didn't, and why.

Ongoing Resources

After each event, you'll receive materials that remain useful: templates you can adapt, checklists for implementing concepts, and contact details for presenters if questions come up later. Past attendees often reference these months afterward.

The best events create space for honest conversation about what's actually challenging. People appreciate when we acknowledge that finance isn't always straightforward and that different approaches work for different businesses.
